Recent conversations with colleagues responsible for the design of the new Licencing Scheme for Non-Surgical cosmetics in England confirm that plans for licence continue to be ‘on track’.

We anticipate that consultation on the procedures to be included in the scope of the new license will commence during the mid-spring of 2023, with the aim of the new license been confirmed for implementation during the early part of 2025. We recognise that time must be taken to develop appropriate practice and education and training standards to underpin the competence requirements of the new practitioner license and a significant amount of preparation will be required to develop secondary legislation and procedural guidelines before the new licence can be implemented.
