JCCP Welcomes Prof Bob Khanna as its Newest Key Opinion Leader

 

The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) is proud to announce the appointment of Prof Bob Khanna as its latest Key Opinion Leader (KOL), a globally respected figure in facial aesthetics whose leadership and innovation have shaped the field for over three decades.

Prof Bob Khanna, known internationally as The Doctors Choice” in Facial Aesthetics, has dedicated nearly 30 years to advancing cosmetic and oral surgical procedures in combination with aesthetic medicine. His pioneering work has defined modern approaches to botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, PRP, TMJD management, skin rejuvenation, advanced thread lifting, EBD’s and longevity.

In 1997, he founded the Dr Bob Khanna Training Institute, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health. Alongside this, he serves as Clinical Director of the Dr BK Clinics in Reading and Harley Street, London, where he continues to deliver world-class aesthetic and dental care.

Prof Khanna is a renowned international speaker, educator, and researcher, regularly featured at major conferences such as IMCAS, AMWC, FACE, and CCR. He has authored numerous academic and clinical publications and has been featured in media documentaries on cosmetic medicine.

His professional recognition includes:

  • Tatlers DoctorsChoice” for Facial Aesthetics & Dentistry (2023-current)
  • Global Recognition in Cosmetic Medicine Award – NI Cosmetic Medicine Awards (2024)
  • Outstanding Global Expertise in Aesthetic Medicine Award – PAADS (2025)

Prof  Khanna also founded the International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) in 2005, through which he has raised over £400,000 for childrens charities while promoting patient safety, education, and professional standards across the industry.

As a JCCP KOL, Prof Khanna will play an instrumental role in supporting the Councils mission to uphold public safety, ethical practice, and clinical excellence within aesthetics. His expertise will help shape future frameworks for education, training, and professional regulation across the sector.
